I had MS_FTP working fine and have not really had a need for it because I've always used tytool to extract video. I wanted to use chunkedit so I needed to reinstall MS_FTP after my /var got recently wiped. I get the following when trying to run ./ms_ftp.tcl

bash: ./mfs_ftp.tcl: No such file or directory
bash-2.02# ls
DateNowShowing.tcl mfs_stream
NowShowing.tcl mfs_tarstream
TivoWebPlus-1.0-final.tivo.tpm set_mrv_name_ADH.tcl
endpadplus.tcl superpatch-4all-NutKase-0.7.1.tcl
guide_patch_v401b.tcl tserver_mfs
mfs_export tserver_mfs7
mfs_ftp.tcl vserver
mfs_stdinsert
bash-2.02#

Make sure mfs_ftp.tcl is formatted in Unix format, run Dos2Unix just to make sure. (Always transer tcl files via ftp in binary mode) Also, run chmod +x on it for good measure.

I already did both of those.

Did you try Dos2Unix, or redownloading it?

I got it working. Reading the "readme" file always seems to help. :D
