Dead hard drive (up sh*t creek)...

I just got series 1 Tivo (hdr112 version 3.01) and was starting to get into it. Now the hard-drive is dead. I have looked high and low and I can't find the image. I did find one for dsr6000 but that doesnt help.

Anyone have any ideas?

they removed all free tivo images off the forum, you can still buy one from PTV upgrade

of buy another Tivo on Ebay, and make your own image.

Given the price and diminishing supply of replacement parts for an S1, and S2 is a better buy. IMHO, large drive support is easier to setup, and hacks like HMO (in 4.0.1 and 6.2), Folders and Disk Space usage (via menu) are just a few reasons to get an S2. Good luck :)

Check emule for your 112 image. I've seen several of them posted.
