t60 160gb upgrd xtreme

I am trying to upgrade my dads tivo from the stock 40 gb HDD to a 160 gb HDD. After installing xtrme25 , my tivo gets stuck on the a few more seconds screen. I ahve followed the instructions, and I have no problem doing it on my 40gb HDD. If i accidently booted up into windows with the drive attached is this preventing it from booting ? I have installed 25xtreme several times with the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe it's having an issue with the drive being too big and xtreme not being lba48 aware?

Are you expanding the drive at the same time you are running xtreme? If so, try it without expanding, and see if that works.

If it does, maybe you can use mfsadd and an lba48 aware disk to expand the drive later, and apply the proper kernel as well.

If I remember right, ptvupgrade's free boot disk has a tool for making S1 kernels lba48 aware. (CopyKern?)
