I have a DTV Huges DVR2 that I have successfully upgraded to a 160 gig hardrive and 4.0.1b (hacked, with help from all your posts!). I'm now trying to upgrade to 6.2. I freshly re-imaged the drive, because I screwed something up and figured it best to start from scratch (wife has to record Little House on the Prarie or I'll never hear the end). My question is, "After restoring a drive, is there a certain waiting period before the db will allow slices and an upgrade to happen?" This is day 3 after the restore and I still get the same error.
This is what I have done:
I have loaded these slices into /var/packages (binary mode)
GZcore-44090111-2.slice
GZkernel-44090113-2.slice
loopset-dtv-Series2.slice (unzipped twice)
swsystem-44090121-2.slice
utils-44090115-2.slice
I then do:
/tivo-bin/dbload *.slice
And I get:
dbload: GZcore-44090111-2.slice (hangs for a minute and is then followed by: )
dbload (0x3000d)
while executing
"dbload $db $file"
("foreach" body line 3)
invoked from within
"foreach file $argv {
puts "dbload: $file"
dbload $db $file
}"
(file "/tivo-bin/dbload" line 26)
I have tried loading each file individually, but get the same response. Any ideas??????
I've tried searching for any posts with this info, but I haven't been lucky. Any help or posts going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
