Ive been trying to extract some recordings on my dsr6000 ver 2.5.2 xplusz.
the now showing programs will not play-they keep saying "error playing recording"- I backed up my tivo, but later I think I edited some of the rc.net and rc.sysinit files so now I dont have my xplusz commands- my question is if I update back to superzap's 2.5.2 xplusz , will I lose the recordings on the now showing page? Im trying to test the recordings to see if the no scramble was enabled or not (ie. #47,1 & #54,1).
I have managed to use tytools to extract the shows, however they are all screwed up-its almost as if the extractions are deleted shows from previous recordings. for example, the description that shows up on the now showing screen is totally different than the actual ty file- also the tv shows are on average between 500-600mb for a 1hr tv show with commercials, but the resulting ty file is much shorter- like 30-50 mb. why are my shows, either not being extracted and/or partially being extracted?
