How do I get lifetime with 3.1.0 ?

How do I get lifetime with 3.1.0 ?
No longer an option. DirecTV took over the software and TiVo is the only one that sells lifetime subscriptions. If you want a lifetime sub you'll have to buy a SA TiVo.

I tried to install and run 2.5.2 on my dsr6000 but it would not run I had to go to
3.1.0 to get the system to run. Why is that? did they update my system so I
could only run 3.1? when i install 2.5 and 2.5.2 my system just lock's up at
updating data base. after in installed 3.1.0 tivo came up normal.

I had installed 2.5.2 a couple of year's ago. I never upgraded to 3.1 I had no needed too. All of a sudden my system went down. (reason's unknown)
and I tried to reinstall it and the system would'nt run just locked up. after
3 weeks of fighting it. I installed 3.1.0 a bam it came back up running. but I
dont know if the hack's are working properly. pulz say's everything is ok. but
I dont have record and everytime I plug in my phone for callerID. The phone
goes dead like the tivo is in a active call. So I figured I would just try to revert
back to 2.5.2

Huh??? Both 2.5.2 & 3.1 working here on Series1
And both 4.x & 6.2 working here on Series2
All 4 tivo's running fine no problems.

HHmm.. As for your problem, is your modem out?? you might wanna check that.. cuz if the modem is out, it will not boot up all the way in 2.5.2.. I can't recall if it matters in 3.x or not.. probably not..

On the same topic is it possible to fake the daily call on a 3.x?

I guess so because my phone is not connected and service say's daily call
succeeded.
