Apache on Series 1 Tivo

Has anyone ever tried compiling a fully cut down apache on a series 1 tivo?

I would like to try and rebuild the TivoWeb based in PHP as I dont find it as reliable as I would like it to be. I know there is a PHP mod already done but it relies on tivoweb.

Has this been done?
Can it be done?

Anyone have any links to any info?

What's "not realiable" about it? I have seen TW crash once in a while, requiring a reboot but that's par with most Tivo hacking. There are very limited resources in a Tivo and it destabilizes easily.
