Sony SAT-T60 with cable

I have a Sony Sat-T60 which is a DirecTV and Tivo combined. I no longer use DirecTV. Can I use this T60 with my Adelphia cable box to record shows? Is this possible and how can it be done?

No. The T60 has no encoder chip.

Is that the case with all DTivos?

Yes. DirecTivos just record the digital signal from the satellite. They have no way to record an analog signal.
