Hi all,

Any reason why I would be experiencing just the extraction of a 10GB TY file from my Series 1 TiVo, using SmartFTP against mfs_ftp ?

I seem to have managed to FTP over about 4GB of the file, but then mfs_ftp seems to have hung, and issuing a reboot to TiVO seems to be the only way to resurect. 'Resume' of the FTP session immeadiately hangs mfs_ftp again, whilst restarting the FTP transfer simply hangs mfs_ftp again after about 4GB.

Any ideas ?

Are you trying to extract to an FAT32 drive?

Actually, yes. You saying it needs to be NTFS due to the limitations in FAT32 ?

Yep; FAT32 has a file size limitation.
