I had a recent dispute with Lou that I will be honest about by saying that according to the letter of their law and the fine print, I had no recourse. It was the letter of their law and their fine print (and the manner in which I was quickly treated after trying to find some kind of actual recourse through their own stated policies) that I had issue with.

I was just reading their FAQ, and found this nugget here (http://www.ptvupgrade.com/db/cs/faq#item_4):
"It is our mission to provide the best customer support available."

Now I get it. "Available", not "possible". They don't feel compelled to outrun the bear, because they only have to outrun the other guy running from the bear.

I thought I'd share this. As most (AFAICT), I have no problem with their products (I have been very happy with the ones I *intentionally* purchased), and as some, I do have problem with their policies and customer service -- for those 'some', I thought they might find this humorous.
