Log files not rotating?

When I had originally upgraded my TiVo to 7.2 whenever I forced a daily call the logs for tclient and tvlog were rotating at the end of each call and old logs were saved as Otclient and Otvlog. Since the TiVo has been making calls on its own it does not appear to be doing this. Should the TiVo be rotating the log files every call it makes or only when the files get to a certain size it just clears them out. The last date on the Otclient and Otvlog files was Sep 26.

Here is the size of my files right now:

I am concerned that this is going to fill the /var partition up if it does not clear itself.

Also is there a way to save the hacked kernel and the /var/hack directories easily?
