What is the easiest way to bypass the daily call on a Series one Hughes GXCEOBOT. That is all I want to do to it.

OK let me explain some more: I have DirectTv. I have one DVR40 subbed plugged into the phone line. I have one Sony t60 With lifetime and all the bells Subbed, (using 722 trick), I want to do the 722 on the GXCEBOT but this does not have lifetime and all the bells. It wants to call out to work properly. I don't want it to call home abd have Directv see I am running 2 Tivo's on the same account. Also the GXCEbot was recently subbed (by me) and plugged into the phone line. It made the calls , but i would still get a nag message that it hasn't called in like some 1800 days. I would make the daily call, but the message would still show up the next day. Any suggestions.

Why don't you want DTV to see that you have two DTivos on the same account? That sounds like an attempt to steal service which we do not discuss here. Besides, DTV will only charge you for the mirroring fee on the receiver. The DVR fee is a flat charge for as many DTivos as you want to add to your account.

I am not trying to steal anything. I have 3 subbed units and one has the Tivo service. The other 2 are mirrors, but this tivo gives me a message that it has not called in over 1800 days or so, eventhough I had just forced a daily call.

What did DTV Customer Support say about it?

I had this unit subbed at first, but it couldn't get locals, so the sent me a new one, while waiting for the new one I hooked it up to the phone line and let it update to 3.1. then It got the locals. Then I got the new one and hooked it up. Well now this one has everything and I want to put it in place of one of my regular recievers.

Just call DTV and have them swap it out on your account. If you're replacing a regular receiver and laready have the DVR service then your monthly fees won't change one bit, although they may increase your DVR fee to $5.99 if you activate any new DVRs on your account from what I've been hearing.

well I have the 1 DVR already, and when I log on to my account, all 3 cards are mirrored the same, and all have the tivo service.
