HomePlug networking for Tivo?

OK, so I've been planning on setting up the 802.11g for the Tivo downstairs, and then I run across some literature on the HomePlug new models that run at ~85Mb. I just want my Tivo to be able to use the network connection, etc, so wondering if anyone has actually tried to use this on a Tivo. Search came back zilch for homeplug.

As far as TiVo is concerned, you need a supported USB Ethernet adapter which would then connect to the HomePlug device. TiVo doesn't care what the Ethernet wire goes to.

Correct, I do networking for an occupation. Was hoping someone might have used the HomePlug though, and could report whether or not it works reasonable well.
