We're all out shopping and getting ready for upcoming Christmas.
Besides, it already sounds like you found fakecall to stop nag screens. You'll either need to sz it over serial console cable or pull your drive and install it using a PC.

There is also the possibility to load a small bit of "guide" data that is several years into the future.
I saw something about it on the Aussie site, but that was going back almost a year now.

No I havn't found fakecall or anything that can get rid of the nags yet i can only find bits and pieces of info on it, what i found is fakecall is for a Treo 600
if there is a better way let me know here or PM
Any help would be great
I also have heard of people getting there service for like $6 a month i would be willing to pay that, i would get lifetime but if the unit bites the dust your screwed is what it look like to me, unless there is a way around that:)
Thanks

Hang on, is this version for both S1 abnd S2 TiVos? The OP mentioned a Series 1. The Alphawolf binary thread says it is for S2 TiVos, but since this is a .tcl file, it should run on either, the question is will it work on either? I tried unpacking Alphawolf's .rar file, but my RAR utility gives me an "unknown method" error. There is a .zip file posted by AhoyMatey in the thread, but I don't know if it will work, either. I am interested because my sister's Series 1 DTiVo always has a ton of nags about calling in and it would be nice to get rid of them.

Member AhoyMatey is very familiar with the fakecall.tcl script, having modified the latest posted versions himself, and he does not believe the latest fakecall.tcl script will work on a Series I. The OP in this thread is looking for a solution for a Series I. So am I.
