For some reason, everytime I run bufferhack and try to set a 45 min buffer, I go into a reboot loop and end up restoring the 62small image and getting ftp/telnet/etc back on the drive a few times.
I set the buffer at 90 once before and that worked without problems. I've tried 40a, 40b, and Jamie's 40c. I'm not trying to run it again lol.
I see some mentions about a reboot loop in the bufferhack support thread and the members there said they fixed it by restoring the original brf.
The scripts I've seen to restore brfs all need to run on a live tivo, which if i'm in a reboot loop I can't do.
If I setup serial bash to load before tivoapp (still reading on the specifics of loading serial bash before everything, suggestions on threads welcome), will scripts that need tivosh still work (such as the scripts to restore a brf)?
I've ordered a serial cable. In the mean time, is there any way to fix the brf with my tivo drive in my pc? I heard from Jamie that with mfs_import could do it? I tried to run it with the tivo drive in my pc but like i expected it didnt work. I probably did it wrong.
