Extreeme 2.5

I have read all the posts on 2.5 Extreeme and no one seems to have my problem. I have down loaded it 5 times from the "link" and from hotbox69. When I go to open the zip I always get the same error. That winimage and win zip and power arciver can not open this file.

Has anyone had thid problem? or is there another ftpsite I might down load it from?

I have used that download too. Infact I am down loading it for the 6th time as we speak, always with same results. I always get that winimage and winzip can not open this file....

Any one have any ideas? or a ida where I might get it from a diffrent spot?

This is what I have doen....

Down loaded the zip from the post the link. open the zip and went to the site. ....clicked on retieve attachment...it down loads....but never can open it...it replies...does not seem to be a valid achive

can some one give me a walk through of how they down loaded and unzipped....maybe I am doing something wrong

I used cuteftp (www.cuteftp.com - 30 day shareware) to ftp the image from quake.watchmybeaver.com login:tivo password:tivo

Used winace to unzip it, and fireburner to burn it. It worked perfectly. No errors in the process.

I had no luck dling the file from the url link, said it was a curropt zip when I got it.

Yea, someone uploaded a dead 2.5 extreme to the site...it was 17megs (should have clued you into it being bad), I've deleted it to make room for the new upload (hint hint)

Thanks guys...downloaded from another sight and worked fine....there are two bad zips out there....
