Hey all,

Did searching to the point of frustration, and cant find anything on this topic, so hopefully, this hasnt been covered before...

Dtivo, Series 2, Superpatched, networked, the whole works...everything is great...

The one thing thats driving me crazy now is the lack of ability to skip ahead and skip back with the live buffer like you can with recordings...(ie, skip to the next/prior 'notch' on the play bar...

Anything out there that allows that functionality ?

Not sure why that would drive you crazy, but when you press the FF or RR button you can jump from to the next 15 minute point on the playbar by pressing the 30 sec skip button, if I remember correctly. Not at home right now to try it. Hope it works for you.

That is only true while watching a recorded show. As Callindril said, in the live buffer that doesn't work. It skips all the way to the beginning/end of the buffer. And I agree, it is annoying.

nope you're not alone, drives me crazy too.

rpl: what we're talking about is that the skiptotick does NOT work UNLESS you are recording the program.

this gets REALLY annoying when you have a long buffer (2 or 3hrs) and you can only do regular rew or ff (which is slow).

Not trying to be flippant. But just push the record button on the remote. For at least the program that is playing you'll then be able to do what you want.

Won't work all the time. If you're at the beginning of the buffer and the end of the buffer is in a different show, you'll lose the part of the buffer prior to the start of the newer program.

Since this is a live TV buffer issue maybe we could request bufferhack developers take a look and see if this is a possible feature in future bufferhack upgrades.
