View Full Version : trouble installing TivoWebPlus - no such file

When I try to run the TivoWebPlus-1.0-final.tivo.tpm file it aborts the installation.

It says listing contents and then reports no such file for /yes/files.tmp

"cpio" error while listing archive. Trying "tar" utility.

I'm sure I just made a simple mistake due to my complete noobism with linux. Your help is much appreciated!

you don't have to type yes(its the default), just press enter

When blindly following a guide, always take your issues to the guide's author. If you ask here anyone who answers has to first read the guide.

Extenuating circumstances? I can't imagine. Were you held at gunpoint?

Bottom line: we don't support guides here. We don't know what you've done and, since you've blindly followed a guide, neither do you.
