I got my prom and I'll be installing it tonight. Since I've done enough soldering in my time, I don't expect any issues there however I'm not certain on the path to upgrade.
I got my DSR7000 and did the instacake/superpatch thing and that worked first time out of the box but that was on a fresh drive. I'd like to be able to retain the recorded data on the R10 so I'll be backing that drive up first.
I assume I can use PTVnet however I'm unclear about the FIRSTTIME flag as it appears as though that'll nuke the drive. Any suggestions? I also understand I'll have to upgrade the kernel too?
