Upgrade to 7.2.2 reflashed my prom?

Is this possible? After the upgrade to 7.2.2, I haven't been able to make my S2 nightlight to startup again (even after re-applying the hacks and the hacked kernel).

It starts up, and after about 15 seconds an eternal white screen.

It has been working with pre 7.2.2 for about a year without any problems.

Any similar problems?

Seems more likely that your PROM probably worked its way loose, and you never noticed until the update rebooted the machine.

I already re-seated it several times. Funny thing is that my unit rebooted weekly without problems. I have two more modded proms I am going to check out on this unit, and I'll hook up my serial cable tonight for further information.

7.2.2 does not reflash prom's.

If you want to understand why your tivo isn't booting, you'll need to look at the serial console output.

I switched proms and everything is working now. Perhaps the prom got damaged somehow, I will swap them again tomorrow and check again.
