View Full Version : Local channels N/A after system reset

I just reset my hacked DirecTivo via the "clear and delete everything" option in the reset system menu (was having a problem with recordings). All my hacks still work after the reset, and I can now record without problems, but I no longer receive local channels. I get a "channel not available" message if I type in a channel (tivo doesn't even show them in the guide or while flipping... it just goes from ch. 879 to 100). My media center DirecTivo receives these channels perfectly, so please let me know if there's a certain system file or something I can copy over to receive my local channels again. Telnet, ftp, and TivoWebPlus are enabled on both machines.

Thanks

Peter

1. Did you call D* to ask them what's up?
2. How long did you wait before posting? It can take awhile (maybe even 24 hrs).

Locals will take a long time before they show up in the guide after doing a C&DE. The guide data will take even longer to populate after the channels appear in the guide so be patient.

Oh, cool. Started working this afternoon! Took about 36 hrs. Thanks.
