I have my TIVO series2 working great with Sleeper1.01 and a WIRED LAN (Linksys USB200M) and am wondering if it is possible to go wireless?
I have an old WUSB11 (perhaps version 1.0, FCC-ID 06M-WUSB11, model WUSB11).
It seems like most of the WLAN discussion is on newer kernels and grepping for all files in the filesystem, I couldn't find any that had *wlan* in the filename.
hmmmmm......
If it's possible, where do I put in the SSID?
Would I use the pegasus driver?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!
I have a series2 DirecTV, Hughes-SD-DVR40, Sleeper1.01, 3.1.1c kernel.

You don't mention the version of Tivo software you are running. Is it 4.01b? (The kernel doesn't tell us since Sleeper used a monte system.)
In any case, I don't believe 3.x or 4.x worked with wireless directly. You should probably consider a wireless/ethernet bridge.

I'd suggest moving up to 6.2. It has several benefits including a faster UI and folders. The upgrade is documented here (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42325), and can be performed without pulling the drive.
Discussion on using wireless with 6.2 can be found here (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showpost.php?p=224925&postcount=17).

PlainBillThat wireless script will work, but is a bit outdated. This one (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?p=238928#post238928) doesn't require an fsid and can also set up WEP security for you. It's interactive, so run it without arguments.

No book deal. I'll turn it over to my grandson after he hacks his first TiVo - probably early next year. :)
And who the heck is Von Hagen. All Google turned up is 'BodyWorlds 3'
