Linux dd copy vs mfsbackup help

Is it possible to stop a linux dd backup in progress. I think I should have used mfsbackup instaed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try ^C. Stops most any active executable under linux.

Do you know if this will corrupt my source Tivo HDD?

Shouldn't -- dd should only be reading from the source.
