View Full Version : "Failed negotiating" w/cachecard network

Since Feb 20, my Directivo has not successfully made a call. It worked fine before that, using the network connection.

The screen says the software is version 3.1.0c2-01-1-011.

I'm guessing something changed that rendered it incompatible, but I didn't find anything searching this forum. Anybody know?

The network connection itself works fine, since I can access it locally.

if you've got serial reinstall the drivers using native install. that shoud fix any software problems, though it will update to 3.5........

It had an incorrect "Gateway" setting.

I wish I could assign a static IP without having to put in all the settings. Better yet, a DHCP server that let me find things symbollically without having to use a static IP address.

When the "gateway" address changed, it was a month before the tivo showed any errors, so I had forgotten all about it.

Yea, I got 3.5 auto-updated <sigh>.
