Anyone crack open their S3 yet?

I'd thought I'd start the first thread and see what is known about the S3 internals (other than the previously posted reviews, photos, etc).

Anyone tried using the onboard serial port connector and get any output?

Anyone remove the drive, hook it up to a PC and check out the kernel version?

What else can be found out about the system from the hard drive?

Some good internal info in both threads.
S3 seems to still be using 2.4.20 kernel, at this time, although I'm sure its compiled for the hardware particular to the S3.
