I've been reading for a while now but all instructions I can find assume that I want to re-apply the hacks on the updated version. Since I barely use the hacks now anyway, I decided to update without applying the hacks. There has to be a simple way to do this but all the instructions I can find get messy when rehacking comes into play. My system looks like this now:
Directory of /SwSystem starting at ''
Name Type FsId Date Time Size
---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----
3.1.5f-01-2-357 tyDb 323721 03/20/05 17:52 700
6.3a-01-2-357 tyDb 2366403 09/23/06 09:53 772
ACTIVE tyDb 323721 03/20/05 17:52 700
I have lost my hack folder with all the binaries including ftpd, vi, ls etc'. I can still telnet into system and I guess I can edit files by using cat & copying from the telnet window into an editir on the Windows system and pasting back into a cat command.
Since I don't need to remove the reboot command from InstallSw.tcli, do I just need to run it or do I still need to edit something in it?
Thanks for any help...
