I am able to see folders thru Filezilla. When I try to upload the .TY file I get disconnected from server error and upload failed message. It will keep reattempt to upload but no workie. I can go to TY folder and delete partial upload attempts and retry again. I am using Dtivo dvr 40 running old 3. something software. Is something amissed here or what. All I wanted to do is use the old box to upolad my saved .ty files back and play them. It is not active for rcording. I am getting the itch now.

Update: I tried a different file and it uploaded ok. I checked the file and it shows 0 bytes. Now showing tells me an error occured and wouldn't play the file .What went wrong?

update again, My conclusion that Tivo service must be enabled in order to playback videos. That what I am not looking forward to having to waste my time looking for an answers from this site. Files posted on this site are scattered everywhere and don't know they are updated or not thus enhancing time wasting even more. I have wasted more time than I thought.

I finally got a chance to destroy Dtivo for good. It is fun watching tivo blow up on 230 volts and 87 volts dc raked across the motherboard.

This website need better management and better files location to download instead of looking thru crappy search engine that only highlight the searchwords. I rather take this website down for good and make tivo company happy after all. Let them do their ****ing jobs and mabe they will provide us better os updates.

Are you out of your mind? Or just a stupid troll?

Only a moron would complain about a free service that doesn't respond to a thread ninety minutes after said moron created the thread.

Tell you what. I will gladly respond to all of your inane, impatient questions in 30 minutes or less. My retainer will be $10,000 per year, plus $200 per 30 minutes of service.

Dolt.

And oh by the way, a DirecTivo like the one you had will easily play back files without service enabled.
