MSRestore on pace to take 45 hours

I'm upgrading my HR-10 (250 GB drive) with a 400 GB and 500 GB hard drive. Kicked off the MSRestore using PTVupgrade.com's HD Tivo disc (PTVNet), no problem. However its been running for 15 hours now and is only 33% finished. I remember running into this problem before on a SD Tivo and resolving it, just don't remember how. ANybody have any suggestions?

Never used that cd but generally,

works faster w/ dma turned on

hdparm -d1 /dev/hdx , where x is a, b, c, d

put drives in different ide channels,

hda or hdb
and
hdc or hdd

I did hr10-250 250GB w/ about half full and took 1hr 40 minutes recently.
