AUdio Problems

I have two Dtivos (running software version 6.2-01--2-101) They are both Phillips DSR 7000 units. I hacked them about a year ago using this forum (thanks!) I have MRV, Ttools, etc. working on both. Both units are exactly the same. Everything was fine up until a month or so ago. I have started having audio problems on both systems. It doesn't cut out or anything that I have seen described on the new units. It seems that when certain frequencies from the audio on whatever show I am watching are broadcast, I get a weird blaring sound (like a busted speaker). It is loud and sounds awful. I suspected my audio system in my living room, until I noticed it doing the same thing on the other system which is only the tivo and the TV.

Could this be a bad multiswitch? I have a nonpowered TERK 2x4?? Two line come in from the LMB and four come out to the recievers.

Any one else have anything similar?
