In TyTool I'm getting the following info concerning audio delay after I cut the commercials from a show. I am patching audio holes under audio preferences:

Final standardAudioDiff = 2160 or 00:00:00.024

After I load the files in DVDlab and master a disc the audio is out of sync. Here are my questions...

(1) Using the info above, should I delay or move up the audio in DVDlab?

(2) DVDlab allows you to adjust the time by miliseconds. Likewise, in the above scenario exactly by how many miliseconds should the time be changed? (I didn't know if the TyTool numbers were listed in video frames, ntsc frame, miliseconds or what.)

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm just trying to understand the audio delay issues so that I can get this right every time without having to worry about it.

Strange that you would see that -- are you going to .mpg in TyTool or to elementary streams? If you're muxing to .mpg then TyTool should compensate for the offset.

I'd guess that that output means 24 milliseconds, but whether it's + or - I have no idea.

I'm just going under "multiplex files" after I've edited the keyframes to cut commercials.

Here's all the text that is showing under TyTool...
