Just set up my Series3. I really like the system - but was really disappointed to learn that TivoCast is not enabled on Series3.

The Tivo website says that this will be enabled "very soon". Does anyone know a specific date?

Also, is it possible to set a season pass for "Teleworld Paid Program" on Discovery Channel to download the TivoCast content? I have read in some of the various Tivo forums that Tivo uses program this to download content/videos?

What is the story on "Teleworld Paid Program" and what purpose does it serve?

"Teleworld" was one of the original names of TiVo, Inc. It's brokered time they buy on some channels in the middle of the night to deliver the video for showcases.

TiVoCast is programming delivered through the Internet.

Oh! So it sounds like it I set a pass for "Teleworld Paid Programming" that I'll get my showcases - even on the Series3 DVD which does not officially support the service through their menus.

Correct?!?!?!

What about timing of TivoCast returning to the Series3.....
