Ive been trying to get these 2 ty files onto dvd for the last few days. I have been reading so much my eyes are bleeding :)

I read that there is a problem with TyTool with OOB errors so I dloaded the files from MFS_FTP and got them on my pc. Now I am trying to get them onto DVD. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work. I used hdemux to get them into .m2a and .m2v files and then tried to use DVD-LAB pro to make a dvd out of it, but when I believe it goes to muxing the files it aborts out. I tried converting it to .mpg and then using DVD-LAB pro to make my DVD, but no luck either.

What is everyone doing to get these .ty files onto DVD? Anyone using DVD-LAB pro to create a DVD?

Any help or nudge in the right direction would be great.

Are these standard definition files or HD files? If they're HD then they need to be converted to a resolution that DVD-Lab can handle. If they're SD then you should be able to mux them and import them into DVD-Lab as is.

TyTools has issues when muxing HD files, especially if they were recorded with OS 6.3x. Try using tytompg instead. Once they're muxed you can edit them in VideoReDo and save the output as a transport stream (.ts file). Import the .ts file into HDTV2DVD and it will convert the file to a 720x480 .mpg file and will also create a DVD fileset that can be burned directly as a DVD Video in Nero. If you want to add more than one title to your DVD then just use the _SD.mpg file it creates with DVD-Lab and author it normally. There are other methods for using HD ty files but this is the one I use and it's a fairly simple process.
