HELP, msf_ftp username/password

I cannot seem to find any info on this. I got msf_ftp to allow me to connect but it wants username and password info before I can write, anyone?

You're using mfs_ftp to connect to port 3105, right? The folders you see (ty, ty+, tmf) are really a representation of the MFS filesystem. You should only be downloading or uploading (inserting) there; you really shouldn't be "writing" anything. In general, tivo FTP daemons don't require a user/pass but I just check "anonymous" in my FTP clients and it works fine.

Yes, I'm attempting to insert, not write anything. Anonymous does not let me in either.

You're not doing something right. I hit Enter at both the ID prompt and PW prompt and I am in. Inserts work fine.
