I have two SVR2000 tivos with lifetime memberships and I would like to use them with Verizon FIOS-TV service.

As I was changing service providers, I tried to update the menu of available channels of one of the Sony SVR2000 by doing, following the advice of Sony customer support, a repeat guided setup. The repeat guided setup failed because no Tivo supports Verizon FIOS and now I am stuck inside the guided setup menu in an infinite loop: I cannot get back to the main Tivo menu.

I think I still can access the box via telnet. What can I do to get out of this infinite loop and back to the main Tivo menu?
