For those of you with a hardware hacked PROM modded Tivo. (If you are using a killhdinitrd kernel, then you do not want these files.)

A compiled version of mrblack51's replace_initrd tool (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21976) for linux and another for MIPS-based Tivo units.

Linux version for Intel-type x86 machines running linux.

The MIPS version may be useful for fixing the kernel during in-place upgrades on an already-hacked unit. Especially if the kernel version ever gets updated or changed.

EDIT: Sorry guys about the MFSLive CD problem. I've now also included Buechel's version which works with MFSLive CD's busybox implmentation of dd.

I've been looking for this built for tivo-mips since until now I've had to manually copy the files over to a windows PC and run the windows version. Although I don't think anyone will need it anymore, I thought I'd add it to this thread just to be complete. Thanks again, and hope this helps others with their software updates.
