Now that I've "patched" my HR10-250 DTV Tivo, I can download shows to my computer, author them into DVDs, you name it. Problem is that I have one show in particular I downloaded from my Tivo in the TMF format from before I turned scrambling off. Thus, this is an encrypted TMF that I can't play back or transcode on my computer.
I've been following this forum for years now and I just want to confirm if there's a tool or method someone's come up with by now that'll help me decrypt this file so I can watch it on my PC.
It seems like this is still impossible from the searches I've done to simply decrypt a scrambled TMF recording, even if I have the MAK. Is this assumption correct? I hope not. Thanks.
