Which tivo has fast menus? DSR704 or SD-DVR40 or other?

From what I've seen here, the menus in Dtivos are usually not fast, they are not responsive. I'm changing a R10 (with 6.1) with another unit, possibly a DSR704 or SD-DVR40 and I was wondering if any of those has faster menus than my R10?

Do I have to get a higher unit such as the HR10-250 for faster menus or are these units naturally slow?

Any of the units with OS version 6.x or above will have faster menus than the older versions. Menu speed for DTivos is related to the software version and not necessarily the hardware.

If you REALLY want speed, get an analog TV and watch over-the-air programming. It's almost instantaneous. ;)

Which brings up the question: What are you going to do with the time you save? :D
