During the upgrade my Philips DSR-708 tivo drive died. I had restored back an original image to 3.0.1c or some version there abouts (it was an old PTV Upgrade CD for my DSR-708 - without it I was stuck at the green screen). Is there a chance that the slices are still in the stream to go from 3.0.1 to 6.2a or is my Tivo boned? Does anyone know the time-frame that would be required for the updates to come through again?
Does anyone have a standard - non hacked mfs I could restore to it to get it up and going again with 6.1/2(a)? It's working now but everytime it boots up it says there's a problem and to start the system and that recording and season passes are locked out. Then after several hours it lets me do season passes with 3.01.
