I posted this to the Newbie forum, which probably wasn't the right pace for it, so I'll try again here, where the experts are:
I screwed up an upgrade by slices, losing networking. I compounded the error by accidentally writing the vmlinux.px to the /dev/hda7 partition, wiping out my backup filesystem. I've got /dev/hda4 working right except that netfilter-enable and netfilter-disable got wiped out. As a result, I can't telnet or ftp into the box, though it otherwise works and gets an IP address from my router.
Can somebody PM or append a copy of netfilter-disable? I'd like both files, just to be sure, but I can get by with -disable 'cause then I'll just copy it to -enable.
