Finding the cause of a segmentation fault

I am trying to run slicer on my Tivo, but immediately get a segmentation fault. Triple checked versions of slicer, confirmed transfered as binary. Starting to look like a problem with a command that slicer is trying to use.

How can I determine which program is generating the segmentation fault?

Ditch slicer and do your hacking manually.

That way you'll be able to pinpoint what is causing the segfault,
and perhaps find a way around it.

Possible solution to you problem is over at the site that supports the product you purchased. This forum supports those who do it "the old fashioned way" -- manually. You bought it from them and they have your money so don't look for help here....
