FTP Problem

I've been trying to upgrade my DirecTivo (RCA DVR40, hacked with Instantcake and PTVupgrade) using Slicer to 6.2a, but my ftp has quit working. Don't know why!

I can connect via FTP to my Tivo, running TivoFTP. I cannot insert anything, I get a "read-only" error. I can extract. I can see the files.

I tried:

Rebooting
Restarting TivoFTP
Remounting as RW

Anyone have any advice? HELP!

Did you try "rootwrite"? :) Maybe you messed the mount command.

telnet in and try the following:

cd /
touch test
rm test

That should narrow it down to ftp or the filesystem
