Anybody know what dbgc-mcp is? Something to do with guide data?

thanks for the acronym deciphering:)
Is this a normal startup item? Anything to be concerned about? Reason I ask is that it seemed to claim a significant portion of the cpu for 10 mins or so, then calmed down, then went away completely after ~20 min

Reason I ask is that it seemed to claim a significant portion of the cpu for 10 mins or so, then calmed down, then went away completely after ~20 minYes, it's a normal tivo daemon that runs from time to time and can consume resources. It runs at a low priority (ts priority?) IIRC, so the cpu usage shouldn't slow down the tivo UI or anything. As long as you aren't getting errors in /var/log/tverr, it's probably fine.

thanks, I'll check out the log and report back if something seems out of whack.
TWP was responsing very slow while dbgc was running
