I have a DirectTv R10 DVR and want to know if I can use it as just a DVR, I got away from DirectTv and went to FTA instead and was wanting to use just the DVR part of the unit?
Is this Possible????

Not that efficient. It keeps falling over and tripping people.

Probably any type of DVR without a built-in satellite decoder (TiVo, Replay, Windows Media, etc)

I'll take the rest of that doorstop if you don't want it. Been looking for something to play around with.

TiVo, and likely replay Doesn't support FTA, and by FTA, I hope you don't mean pirate FTA.
