Hi there -- long time listener, first time caller:
I have a Series 2 standalone with a 120gb disk instead of my OEM 40gb disk.
My question is this:
My original OEM 40gb disk still has outdated software by more than a year, i've long-since had the newer 120gb disk in and connected to the internet, installing its software updates. The time has come that I want to fiddle with the current software and works, but I don't want to break my 120gb disk.
Can I take out the newer drive, put in my OEM 40gb drive and do a software update on it without the mothership saying "Wait, this serial number has two drives associated with it, i'll shut off their account"?
Thanks,
James
