Help me guys...

My hardware is as follows: DSR6000 w/ 512MB CACHE+TURBONET card from 9th tee, FTP, TiVoWebPlus 2.0 installed.

I ran the "patch" for tivoapp after making a backup, the checksums verify. I can still play "scrambled" and "unscrambled" files on the tivo. I installed mfs_ftp and got that working, I can connect to 192.168.1.199:3105 and see the ty folder ... I got one partial program downloaded (320MB) and TyStudio/TyEditor say its unusable. I used the "play it for 10 seconds then pause it" trick to prime it.

I cannot load files from Now Showing right into TyStudio...

I installed and ran unscramble.o, after restarting, then restarted the mfs_ftp program and tried again... nothing previous recorded or freshly recorded will ftp off the machine.

What did I do wrong? I have an 80GB HDD in this puppy, no patched kernel, took the 3.5B update just fine (had to reload the drivers for the cachecard, and also was missing a program that drew images on the screen.. had to have someone email that to me from their box so I'd get the progressbar for the cachecard's progress)...

We'd really like to be able to stream the video off the tivo to the computers in the house. If it cannot be done I'm really thinking about selling this box for two stand alone Series1 units that I can plug up to the TV. Crude, but I have way more experience with the SA than the DTivos.

Someone please help me. I've made it so far without bugging anyone, and this has caused me to lose sleep.

Thanks!

TyStudio? Is that thing still around? I don't think its been touched in over 4 years.

Have you tried jdiners' TyTool.
