I've been trying for a while to get Tivo DTV video to play on my PS3. It seems that DTV is varying from the declared frame rate. I believe this is causing the PS3 to flash green and jump around.
I haven't tried OTA, but I think it should work.

So I started this thread.
Here's what kind of works with my HR10-250 and PS3 firmware 1.90:
TySuiteJ
TyTool (SD only)
TyToMpeg remuxed through ffmpeg or Project X DVB.
This works:
Any mpeg recoded through ffmpeg.
Some other 1080i/720p sources gathered from various places. (It can be done!)
I wrote some custom code to realigned the frames with the frame rate. That stopped the flashing and the jumping. Unfortunately, due to DTV having interframe gaps longer than the frame rate, it caused black holes in the video.
Anybody had any luck? Any other suggests?
