Nanvue description from this page http://tivoza.nanfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=423

nanVue is a versatile multimedia application providing a multitude of features, e.g.:

* Uploading & downloading of TiVo recordings
* Convert to and from most video formats (including DivX, XviD, mpeg, rm, TiVo .ty, etc)
* Download and convert Google & YouTube video's
* Rip and convert DVD's
* Multiple conversion profiles with auto profile assignment
* Convert web pages into images
* Automatically letterbox videos (including adding padding for overscan)
* Image conversion and resizing
* Drag & drop support for files and url's
* Monitor directories for new videos
* Schedule the times when encoding & transfers are performed
* Perform pre & post processing on selected files
* Act as a web server (with support for PHP 5)
* and much more ...

Sounds great. Should I spend my time with it?

Interesting. The site appears to be in South Africa, and the users seem to have something similar to the OzTivo (Australian) stuff for their local guide generation.
