Hi all - not a tivo question, but was not sure where else to post.
I have a new sharp aquos hdtv with one rf input (alomg with hdmi, composite, rca). I sub to basic cable (about 19 channels, Comcast) as part of my broadband internet package, I do not get a cable box with the package, just a coax cable (rg6). I also have an antenna to pick up the local digital hd stations that comes into the house on coax (rg6). Given the one rf input, it's either the antenna or the cable that can plug in...but I want both as they each offer some unique channels. Is there something that'll combine the two signals or something that'll convert one of the the coax to another format that I could plug into one of the other inputs (like rca)?
Thanks

...
Is there something that'll combine the two signals ...
A tivo Series3 or TiVoHD can take cable (QAM and analog) and antenna (analog and ATSC) RF inputs and produce HDMI, composite or component output. So that's one choice.

Actually, many devices, including TiVo's and VCR's, can take RF input and produce RCA composite output.

thanks Jamie, I figured either you or PlainBill would reply :)
I was think more along the lines of a diplexer (if that's the right term, like a splitter in reverse to combine both feeds into one). I have two subbed dsr7000s and one unsubbed hr10-250 (soon to be subbed in two-three months or maybe hr20 if it'll arrive for a minimal fee, or if the hr10-250 is useless by then), all only have one rf input which I have never used. Can I plug one coax into the dsr7000 and use it to tune cable?
Edit - one other benefit of plugging the cable coax into the new tv is the tuner picks up well beyond the 20 channels I'm supposed to get, including all my neighbors PPV
If I put it through my vrc (with rca out), it'll only tune the 20 channels

An hr10-250 has an ATSC tuner, so it can take digitial channels on your antenna in and produce HDMI or component output.
I don't believe you can combine analog cable and OTA on the same RF cable, since they overlap the same frequency range, but I could be wrong. I'm sure you can google it. Might even lead you to previous discussions here (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48378).
