View Full Version : 6.2a rebooting - guide data?

I'm having very consistent reboots with my 4040 running 6.2a. Every three days from around 4:00AM it starts to reboot constantly until 6:30AM. It works fine otherwise, and never does this during the day. It looks just like the reboots we were getting with the bad guide data before "a" came out. The unit is hacked with all the usuals, and runs fakecall. I checked for orphaned season passes, but didn't come up with any. Has anyone else seen this?

Well, I know that D* is tweaking the guide data to fix the Channels I Receive bug on the HR20 (and H20?). Don't know if that's relevant to you, and can't quite fathom a connection with the time of day.

In case it helps anyone else, the problem was a (really, really old) corrupted showcase. The tipoff was an "emergency deletion" message showing up in tvlog. Once I rubbished the showcase everything cleared up.
