Can't seem to find any love in the Series 1 forum - does anyone actually "help" Series 1 folks any more???

Search for the string "expires before it starts".

I have also seen this happen when there is a season pass for an orphaned show, something that apparently doesn't exist anymore. Deleting the season pass will fix it, thus clear and delete everything will also. Note that saving and restoring the season passes won't resave the problematic show in this case. Probably nothing wrong with the original HD.

Could be this or some other form of MFS problem.
